Built and delivered. Controller source shared as a workshop snapshot.
I took a regular coffee pot and gave it a voice. This was an early paid build, and a reminder that making something useful doesn't always mean starting with something new.

Download Talking Coffee Pot Retrofit source (ZIP)8 KB · Snapshot: October 12, 2026 · Includes START-HERE.md and a file list.
Where to start
- Download and unzip the folder.
- Read START-HERE.md for the tools, dependencies, and missing pieces.
- Open coffee_controller__1_/coffee_controller__1_.ino. The header describes the ESP32-C3 Super Mini pins, controls, audio folders, and timing.
- Check the configuration against your own hardware before building or flashing.
Build notes
Uses ESP32 Arduino support, Adafruit GFX, Adafruit SSD1306, and DFRobotDFPlayerMini. Supply your own audio tracks. This is controller firmware, not a mains wiring guide: bench-test the low-voltage controls with the appliance disconnected. Mains integration requires appropriate expertise and independent protection.
These are workshop source snapshots. They have not been compiled or hardware-tested for this download. Original third-party notices remain in the files; no new blanket license has been added.
