Workshop Notes — What I'm Learning

Information and learning are the point. This is where I want to keep the things I learn, the problems that slow me down, and the changes that help me move forward.

I'm still learning. These notes should make it easier for the next person to start—not make me look like I've got every answer.

Start with the current builds

How I'll document a problem

  1. The problem: what I expected and what actually happened.
  2. What I tried: changes, measurements, and results.
  3. What I learned: what the evidence supports, and what is still a guess.
  4. What's next: the next test, or the fix once it has been checked.

Detailed troubleshooting entries will grow as I document them. An unfinished build stays labelled unfinished. An untested idea stays labelled untested.

“I don't know yet” is a starting point.
